Press Release – £2,800 Christmas joy spread by the Woodshomes.co.uk
Woods and Woods Bryce Baker spread a little Christmas joy before the festive season – four of the six winners in the Experts in Property (tEiP) network’s Autumn Prize Draw were entered by our offices.
With 8 woodshomes.co.uk Offices covering Torbay, Teignbridge and the South Hams being part of the 80 tEIP independent estate agency offices spread throughout the Westcountry, there were hundreds of entries into the Autumn Prize Draw, all with a chance to win £2,500 in John Lewis Vouchers plus five more runner up prizes of £100 Vouchers. All homeowners who had a sales or rental valuation on their property during September,October and November were entered for a chance of winning.
On 6th December 2017 the draw took place resulting in the Grand Prize winner and 3 runners up from our offices.
All the lucky winners received their prizes in time to buy presents for friends and family, festive food and drinks or something new for their home, before the Christmas break.
Runners-up, Mr & Mr Smith put their modern two-bedroom property on Swedwell Road, Torquay, up for sale with our St Marychurch branch after we valued it back in October. In a twist of fate, a sale was agreed on the Smith’s property on the day the prize winners were drawn and notified. Shortly after, the couple’s offer on another property for sale with Woods Bryce Baker was accepted. They had a busy 24 hours!
Our Kingsteignton office entered one of the runner-up’s, Mrs Lee, into the competition after valuing her property in Newton Abbot in September. The office has since negotiated a sale on the four-bedroom bungalow and is assisting Mrs Lee in her search for an onward purchase.
And our Paignton office entered both a runner-up and the winner of the £2,500 Grand Prize.
We valued a three-bedroom detached bungalow in the Barcombe Heights area of Preston during the promotional period for Mr Aldworth, who was drawn as a runner-up. He said: “Woods Bryce Baker have a very professional image and are well located and well-known with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, who aren’t too pushy.”
The Grand Prize in the competition was a very useful £2,500 to spend in John Lewis. The winning couple, Mr & Mr Marder contacted our Paignton branch back in September for a valuation on their three bedroom semi-detached house in the popular Goodrington area. Commenting on their good fortune they said: “We were thinking of selling our house and had looked at a flat, which wasn’t really suitable for us, but we were pleased with the valuation and with Amanda, who was very helpful. If, and when the time comes to sell our house, we will ask Woods Bryce Baker to sell it for us.”
Jason Baker, director of the Woods Group, said: “It was incredible to hear that there were four prizes won between our eight offices, including the Grand Prize! We were extra pleased to have been able to hand all the prizes over to the winners before Christmas.”
The Woods Group office which include Woods, Woods Palmer & Radclyffe and Woods Bryce Baker have launched the network’s new promotion. Homeowners who ask a Woods Group office or one of their fellow tEiP members to value their home for sales or rental before the end of April 2018 will be in with a chance of winning £2,500 of Holiday vouchers to spend on a holiday of their choice. So, if you are thinking of selling or renting and like the idea of a free holiday then, pop into or call one of our branches.
